More KIDS On BIKES
The Transylvania Timber Rattlers is a youth mountain biking team representing Transylvania County, NC. We are a member of the North Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League (NCICL). We practice in Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest, and race all across the state of North Carolina. Our team is open to boys and girls across Transylvania County in Grades 5th - 12th. We have two teams that practice together as one. For Brevard High School students, we have a high-school affiliated club team. All other students (regardless of grade/school) are part of Transylvania County Composite. Our season occurs in the spring each year (January through May) and we practice 2-3 days per week during the season.
HOW we roll
Are you a 5th - 12th grade student in Transylvania County? If so, you can join our team! We love riding bikes and we ride as a team 3 times a week during the season. If you also want to race, we compete in 6 league races across the state of NC each season! We are composed of two teams that practice together as one.
